"Called to be a Family of Families"
About Me
Hi everyone, Ms. Francess here! It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to teach Mission Math at OLQA. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Adolescent Ed: Math from SUNY New Paltz this past Spring. Math is one of my many passions, and it is a dream of mine to share my knowledge with the younger generations. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy playing Sudoku, driving to the beach to see the sunset, play with my dogs, and cooking. I am so excited for this school year ahead!
2022-2023 School Year
To Students:
Math can be challenging, yet it becomes easier when we remind ourselves that math - at its core - is about identifying patterns, applying them elsewhere, and learning from the mistakes we make. You should all know by now that mistakes are very much welcomed in my classroom, as the only way our brain grows is through learning from those mistakes. That way, we are able to do our best on tests and quizzes. Always remember... practice makes progress!
Let's stay on top of our work and never give up on math. It is going to be a great year... I can feel it & I believe in you!!
To Families:
Welcome and thank you for choosing OLQA! I am looking forward to my role as a facilitator of math education in your children's school day. My ultimate goal is to increase the math confidence in each of your children. Your children are all part of my Google Classroom where they can find any important documents, assessment reminders, homework, and annnouncments. You can stay in contact through Google Classroom or email if you have any questions for me. I'm looking forward to a very successful school year with you and your children!
