Welcome Students!

I am so excited to have you join me in my Spanish classes!  This year will be fun and exciting as we explore our new Spanish series that will give us plenty of opportunites to learn.  Pre-k and Kinder will focus on greetings, colors, numbers, the body, days of the weeks, and food.  Grades 1-5 will focus on greetings, friends, the home, clothing, colors, school, and animals.  Students in the Mission will be challenged to learn vocabulary describing their personalities, their hobbies, school subjects and schedules, food and nutrition, clothing and shopping, and their likes and dislikes.  Students in the Mission will have plenty of opportunities to display their Spanish language development in the performance tasks that will be assigned throughout the year.  I am looking forward to a great year!

Thank you for choosing Our Lady Queen of Aposltes!  I am excited to bring Spanish into your home through your children and I hope that the projects for my class will provide enriching family activites that will create beautiful memories.  For this school year, classroom communication will be through Google Classroom.  Your student will be able to access all class notes, homework, and class announcements in their classroom.
